The 1″ by 14′ long 8 part braided wire sling has a 32″ eye at each end. This sling is made with Extra Improved Plow (EIP) grade steel, and it has an Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC). The 8 part braided sling is round in shape with 8 parts braided together to resist rotation and kinks. This helical shape can help with even stress distribution. This is a popular option because it provides improved load control with its rotation resistance, and it allows for a greater rated capacity than the 3 and 6 part braided slings.
