1/2″ Grade 70 Transport Chain & Binder Kit

This two-piece chain and binder package is ideal for flatbed securement. It includes a 1/2″ ratchet binder and a 1/2″ x 25′ grade 70 chain.

Ratchet Binder Features

The heavy-duty load binder utilizes a ratcheting action to tighten tie down chains, allowing more tensioning control and offering a safer experience than lever binders. The forged steel handle stores very little kinetic energy (reducing risk of recoiling) and is strong for maximum leverage, while the cam and pawl design allow for smooth securement.

G70 Transport Chain Features

The standard link grade 70 chain is equipped with clevis grab hooks on each end, and features a yellow zinc chromate finish for protection from the elements. It’s manufactured in a high-strength carbon steel for long-lasting quality and 20% more strength than grade 43 chain. This chain is also strength-tested and heat-treated for maximum safety and durability.

Chain & Binder Kit Industry Compliance

All of our tie down chain is DOT compliant and meets or exceeds FMCSA CFR49 Section 393.104 and NACM Welded Steel Chain Specifications, while all of our chain binders are DOT compliant and meet or exceed WSTDA T-6 Recommended Standards. All of the hooks (on both the tie down and the binder) are embossed with the size and the grade, the chain has grade embossing on the links, and the binder includes the working load limit and a traceability code. This ensures quick identifications and stress-free inspections.
