When combined with with G100 chain, they create a tie down chain that’s 25% stronger than grade 80 chains, perfect for your larger loads. Grade 100 tie downs also offer superior abrasion- and fatigue-resistance compared to lower grades.
Created from heat-treated, high-strength alloy steel, this hook has a non-cradle design that allows it to fit through a flatbed trailer rub rail for quick yet secure connections. The shallow throat opening lets you easily connect to chain.
The cotter pin provides reliable attachments to chain and other accessories, along with fast replacement if the hook becomes damaged.
Note: This item is not approved for overhead lifting due to the exposed cotter pin.
