Crosby 12 Ton Round Pin Chain Shackles

USA-made Crosby shackle is made from hot-dipped galvanized forged steel for corrosion-resistance and has an alloy pin for added strength.

They can meet DNV impact requirements of 42 Joules (31 ft-lb) at 4F / -20C upon request, and can be furnished with proof-testing certificates to designated standards, such as DNV, ABS, Lloyds, etc. If you want this certification, please call to order and request the applicable testing.

Why Choose Round Pin Chain Shackles?

Round pin anchor shackles are a good option for applications where the pin may be subjected to torque or twisting, but not for situations where it will be subjected to an axial load. Chain shackles generally have a higher working load limit than anchor shackles, but are ideal for straight or inline pulls only. Side and racking loads may cause the shackle to twist or bend.
