Tarp Vinyl Cement
Vinyl cement offers a strong, flexible, and waterproof bond on vinyl coated and vinyl laminated fabrics, so it’s great for repairing rips and tears on lumber and steel tarps. The built-in brush applicator makes it easy to apply, while the ultra-strong formulation offers excellent resistance to temperature and weather extremes.
It can also be used for a wide variety of other applications, including pool liner repair, shoe repair, vinyl repair, and more.
How to Use Tarp Glue
- Clean the repair area with rubbing alcohol.
- Cut your tarp patch material into a round shape that’s 1-2 inches larger than the tear.
- Spread an even coat of cement to both surfaces being attached and let dry for 5-10 minutes.
- As the cement sets and achieves tack, press surfaces together. For best results, use a roller.
- Wait 24 hours for initial cure – the cement will fully cure in 7 days.
Caution: This product is highly flammable and may cause a flash fire; keep away from fire or flame and use in a well-ventilated area.
